Jessica Hanner (Ensemble) is excited to be performing at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for the first time. Her favorite previous experiences include the role of Emily Webb in Our Town at the Susquehanna Stage Company and the role of orphan and understudy for Annie in Annie at the Fulton Theatre. She enjoys playing piano and guitar and cheerleading for Penn Manor High School where she attends as a junior. Gabrielle Harker (Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the Dutch Apple stage in Wizard of Oz. She was recently seen as the title role in Dutch Apple’s production of Pinkalicious. Dutch Apple credits include: S ounds of Christmas, High School Musical, Mushu the Dragon in Mulan, and the title role in Annie. She has also performed at The Fulton Opera House, Allenberry Playhouse, The Hershey Theatre, Theatre Harrisburg, and Capitol Dinner Theatre. Gabby studies voice with Carolyn Dorff and has been dancing for fifteen years. She is a recent graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and will pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at Coastal Carolina University. Thanks to family, friends, Lauren, and Dean! Enjoy the show!




Tyler Hart (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing for the first time on the Dutch Apple stage. His previous theater experience includes Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Frank Pontipee), The Music Man (Oliver Hix, Baritone of Quartet), Crazy for You (Bela Zangler), Bye Bye Birdie (Harvey Johnson), and many more shows filling up the ensemble. He would like to thank his friends and family for the support and Prather Entertainment for this marvelous experience.






Thomas Blake Hogan (Ensemble) recently graduated from Missouri State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. You may have seen him at the Dutch Apple as Gangster #2 in The Drowsy Chaperone. He has performed professionally with Tent Theatre, Maples Repertory and Arrow Rock Lyceum. Credits include: 25th Annual...Spelling Bee (Chip), Guys and Dolls (Big Jule), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Benjamin), and Peter Pan (Nana/Crocodile). Much love to my ever supportive family!






Jennie Hollander (Aunt Em/Glinda) retired to Fort Myers, Florida after 25 years in the New York television industry. Career highlights include long running roles on NBC’s The Doctors and Search for Tomorrow, 600 national commercials, an Emmy nomination and a Clio award. She spent two years working for Cirque du Soleil as lead wardrobe attendant for the monumental show KA at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. “It’s a pleasure to be back in Lancaster.”




Rob Hopkirk (Ensemble) is pleased to be making his Dutch Apple debut! Rob is a sophomore at Hempfield High School, where he is a member of Student Council and is very active in the theater department. There, he has performed in Cats (Bustopher Jones), A Christmas Carol (Jacob Marley) and Dance Theater’s Olympus as Narcissus. In his free time, Rob studies voice with Joanne Abrom and dance at Carol’s Academy of Dance. Thanks to Lauren and Dean Sobon and everyone else at the Dutch Apple for this amazing opportunity. Cheyanne Leid (Ensemble) is thirteen years old and thrilled to be making her Dutch Apple debut performing this classic! She has recently been seen in American Music Theatre’s 2010 Christmas Show (Clara), EPAC’s Suessical Jr. (Bird Girl), and The Fulton’s Annie (August). She has been studying dance at Laurel Dance and Performing Arts Center for ten years. Cheyanne also takes voice and acting lessons. She would like to thank Lauren and Dean Sobon, her family, Laurel Dance, Mr. “T”, and God for this amazing opportunity.






Cheyenne Nelson (Miss Gultch/Wicked Witch) recent PEG credits include The Grand Duchess Marie Nicholaiovna in The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Vikki Nichols in The Full Monty, Mrs. Claus in Holly, Jolly Christmas, Robert Anne in Nunsense and ensemble in Rent. Other regional credits include Patsy in A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, Ruth in Pirates of Penzance and Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street. Michael Oberfield (Professor Marvel/Wizard of Oz) is delighted to be back at the Dutch Apple where he was last seen as Shamus Tobin in The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Pap in Big River and Grandpa in Meet Me In St. Louis. He has a master’s degree in theatre from Michigan State University and hails from Detroit, but now calls Fort Myers, Florida his home. Michael dedicates this and future performances to Bruce for all of his wisdom, to Faron for always being there and to Jake who inspires him to survive.





Megan Orlowski (Ensemble) is thrilled to be spending the rest of 2011 at the Dutch Apple. Her favorite regional credits include Annelle in Steel Magnolias, the Usherette in The Producers, Pam in The Full Monty, and Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance. Thank you to Brian, the Dutch Apple staff, and the Prather family. Love to her family and wonderful husband and fellow Dutch Apple performer, Chris.






Michael Phillips (Ensemble) is very excited to be part of this magical production! Previous Dutch Apple credits include Pocahontas and Sugar, which he will be doing along with White Christmas in Florida this winter. Other credits include: Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ching Ho), Into the Woods (Milky-White), Joseph... (Judah), West Side Story (Chino), Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Christmas Jubilee! and Can-Can. John Ramsey (Hunk/Scarecrow) is flabbergasted to be back at the Dutch Apple in such a magical show! John spent the last part of the summer here in Lancaster, playing the irascible George Cohan in George M! and looks forward to making more great memories in Oz. Christopher Russell (Hickory/Tinman) is incredibly grateful to be performing at the Dutch Apple for the rest of the year! Some of his favorite past roles include Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty, Freddy Benson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Leo Bloom in The Producers, Jinx in Forever Plaid, and Arnold Needham in No Sex Please, We’re British. Kylee Shaffer (Ensemble) is excited to be in The Wizard of Oz again, having played one of the lullaby league in the Hempfield High School musical. Kylee is an eighth grade student at Landisville Middle School. She has performed in multiple shows; most recently she played Mrs. Shinn in The Music Man Junior for the Hempfield Middle School spring musical. Kylee plays field hockey and lacrosse, and has been dancing since the age of four. She is active at her church and enjoys singing and playing the piano and viola. Craig Smith (Ensemble) is super excited to be doing one of his all time favorite shows The Wizard of Oz. After doing a couple of children’s shows here at the Dutch Apple: Pinkalicious and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, Craig hits the mainstage as a Munchkin! He hopes all the little munchkins watching really enjoy the show, espicially his own two little munchkins, friends and family!






Jason Sofge (Zeke/Lion) is elated to return to the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre and to be a part of this all-star cast of Wizard of Oz! You may remember him from the 2008 production of Guys and Dolls as Nicely Nicely Johnson. Other Prather Entertainment credits include Dave in The Full Monty, Horton in Seussical, and The Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz. His favorite regional credits include Pseudolus in A Funny Thing… Forum, Smudge in Forever Plaid, and Papa Yoder in the 20th anniversary production of Plain and Fancy. Jason hails from New York City and had the special honor of playing the role of Elvyra under the direction of Patrice Chateau in The Metropolitan Opera’s hit production of From the House of the Dead. Other New York credits include a self-written one-man musical called Fat Man Tapping: The BIGGEST Show Under One Roof! Outside of the theater world, Jason is a devout Mets fan, a certified beer sommelier/brewer, and a percussionist. Tommy Wallace (Ensemble) is a recent graduate of Belmont University where he received a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. Favorite credits include Moonface Martin in Anything Goes and George in The Drowsy Chaperone. He is so thrilled to be at the Dutch Apple.

Michael Weaver (Uncle Henry/Oz Gatekeeper) resides in Seattle, Washington. For Prather Entertainment Group he appeared as Man in the Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone as well as Flamingo Court in Florida, Meet Me in St. Louis and The Unsinkable Molly Brown in Arizona and Pennsylvania. At Little Theatre on the Square in Illinois, he appeared in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Singin’ in the Rain, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Christmas Story among others, as well as directing Annie and The Wedding Singer. He was co-founder and Artistic Director of Actors Repertory Theatre in Spokane, Washington where he directed 23 productions, including Humble Boy starring Oscar winner Patty Duke, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Blithe Spirit, and The Importance of Being Earnest. He acted and/or directed nationally with Northwest Shakespeare Ensemble, Tacoma Light Opera, San Francisco’s Sierra Repertory Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, Seattle’s Pioneer Square Theatre, and Pistarkle Theatre on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands among others.







Ashley Wieronski (Dorothy) is thrilled to be making her debut on the Dutch Apple stage! Previous credits include: Cabaret! (Sally Bowles), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Belle), The Sound of Music (Liesl), SHOUT! The Mod Musical (Green Girl), Meet Me In St. Louis (Esther Smith), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator). Kelsey Zimmerman (Ensemble) is thrilled to be following the yellow brick road and making her premiere on the Dutch Apple stage! A recent Music Education graduate of Susquehanna University, some favorite roles include Twin #2 in Peter Pan (Mt. Gretna Playhouse), Mother Abbess in Sound of Music and Joanie Lish in The Full Monty. Many thanks to God, family & friends for their constant love and support!







Molly Carmen (Toto) is a 2 1/2 year old Yorkie from Lancaster. She lives with her mom and dad, and big brother Yorkie Joe. Molly loves to be dressed up and shown of! This is Molly’s first experience in show business, but she is not nervous at all because she is used to being the center of attention. Molly enjoys the simple life, playing fetch in the yard, sunbathing, napping in her donut bed, and spending quality time with her family. Molly wants to say a big hello to all her doggie friends out there! Hugs and kisses to Joe, Chloe, Dexter, and Penny!




Dean Sobon (Director) has directed and performed in several Prather Productions. Audiences from this past winter may remember him as Sheldrake in White Christmas or Bienstock in Sugar. His recent PEG directing credits include The Sound of Music, Big River and Guys & Dolls. He has toured internationally, nationally, and regionally with West Side Story, Man of La Mancha, Guys & Dolls, On The Town, Annie Get Your Gun and many others. As well as an accomplished actor, he is also a writer and acting teacher. Dean has enjoyed diving into this adaptation. It fuses L. Frank Baum’s novel (cir 1900) with the ever famous 1939 musical film version starring Judy Garland. Wizard of OZ has entertained audiences for generations and will continue to inspire those to come. Dean would like to thank Prather Entertainment Group for giving him the opportunity, to the cast and crew for their hard work and talents, and the audience for supporting the arts. Enjoy the show.


Lauren Sobon (Choreographer) has been a part of Prather Entertainment Group for over 15 years and has either choreographed, directed or performed in over 50 productions for the company. Currently she also wears the hat of Associate Producer for the theatre. Some of her favorite PEG credits include: Nunsense (Choreography), Sound Of Music (Choreography), Oklahoma (Choreography), Beauty and the Beast (Babette), Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie) and Annie (Lily). She is happy for the opportunity to work side by side with her husband on this wonderful family classic that inspires finding and believing in your inner wisdom, heart, and courage. Dominic Lau (Scenic Designer) has enjoyed working for PEG for over ten years and would like to thank Meg, Josie, and Michael for all thier support.


John P. White (Costume Designer) recently costumed the national tours of All Shook Up, The Wedding Singer , Beehive the 60s Musical and Footloose, the 10th Anniversary Tour. He was hired as the national costume designer for Prather Entertainment Group after doing Aida, Gypsy and 42nd Street. Previously he was the design assistant for the costume shop at the Actor’s Theatre of Louisville and spent eight years as costume designer for the Derby Dinner Playhouse in Clarksville, Indiana.

Russell Thompson (Lighting Designer) Recent designs include the national tours of All Shook Up, Footloose, The Wedding Singer and Beehive the 60s Musical, the world premiere of Around the World in 80 Days at the Fulton Opera House and High School Musical, Peter Pan and All Shook Up for the Prather Entertainment Group. Previous tours include Tango X2, Moysiev and The Don Cassacks for ICM Artists. Other PEG designs include Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray, Rent, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jekyll & Hyde, Swing, Ragtime, Cats and the regional premiere of The Civil War. His designs for West Side Story, Aida and Miss Saigon have earned him three Ari-Zoni Awards. Prior to joining PEG, Russell lived in New York where his credits ranged from Club MTV to the Geraldo Show to Manhattan School of Music. Originally from Luckey, Ohio he now resides with his wife Alecia in Cape Coral, Florida. Russell hopes you enjoy his work.

Jacob Mishler (Sound Design) has worked in live production audio for more than fourteen years. He’s had the privilege to work with such performers as Bob Dylan, The Dave Matthews Band, The Smothers Brothers and Caroline Rhea. Favorite musical theatre sound designs include Chicago, The Full Monty and Cabaret among many others. Much thanks and love to Julie!

A. Scott Williams (Resident Musical Director) has been working for PEG for four and a half years. He has worked at all three Prather theaters and has conducted three national tours with PEG. Scott is from Chicago where he earned his BA in piano performance, and his MM in choral conducting. He was nominated twice for a Jeff Citation for Best Music Direction and received an After Dark Award for Best Music Director. Scott would like to thank God, his family and friends for always being there for him.
