Prather Entertainment Group is a company consisting of three professional year-round dinner theatres and a national tour company. The dinner theatres feature Broadway-style musicals and comedies combined with a dinner buffet. Children's Theatre and concerts are also featured throughout the season.
Prather Entertainment Group's national tour division tours one non-Equity musical tour each year.
Dutch Apple located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and only three hours from New York City with accessibility by train or car and one hour to Baltimore.
in Ft Myers, Florida is near Fort Myers Beach and beautiful Sanibel Island. For water sports enthusiast or Sun Gods, it's a paradise.
Our actors are all professionals, most of them having college degrees in Theatre Performance, Musical Theatre, Dance and other Performing Arts categories and are selected at national auditions each year.
Rehearsals begin 14 days prior to the Opening Date.
8-9 Performances per week.
Multiple show contracts available with the same or different theatres. When national tours are scheduled for our productions, a tour contract will be issued.
Contract includes housing, meal on show days, health club membership and transportation.
Main Stage Productions
If you are an adult performer 8 – 10 shows per week.
• Evening performances are Tue – Sat, (6:55pm call time) 7:30pm performance
• Twilight performances are Sunday, (6:25pm call time) 7:00pm performance
• Matinee performances generally occur on Tue, Wed, Thurs, Sat, and Sun.
(12:40pm call time) 1:15pm performance
If you are a youth performer we double cast our youth roles in the Main Stage shows to help alleviate the demand of a full show schedule. 4 - 5 shows per week, which will include matinee performances. There will be a few days that will require you to be dismissed from school early for the rehearsals and the performances (If cast we will provide you with the school clearance papers that are required).
Children’s Theatre Productions
Roles are usually not double cast for this series. Actors will perform in 2 - 5 shows a week.
• Morning performances are Tue - Fri (10:55am call time) 11:30am performance
• Matinee performances are Tue – Sun (12:10pm call time) 12:45pm performance
• Evening performances are (5:55pm call time) 6:30pm performance
Million Dollar Quartet 2015-16 National Tour

producing the 30 week 2015-16 National Tour of Million Dollar Quartet.

Seeking: Principal roles
male. Actor/Singer/ guitar player to portray Elvis in his 20s at the beginning
of his career. Must be familiar with the music and be able to play guitar;
should sound and look like Elvis without being an "impersonator”. Songs include
"Memories Are Made of This”,”That’s All Right”, Long Tall Sally”,”Peace in the
Jerry Lee Lewis-
20’s male. Actor/ singer/ pianist: he was rock and roll’s legendary piano
prodigy and celebrated "Last Man Standing.”
Must be a superb piano player, able to play like Jerry Lee Lewis: fun,
energetic, comic skills a plus. Songs include "Real Wild Child”, "Great Balls
of Fire”, "Whole Lotta Shakin’Goin’ On”.
mid 20s male. Actor/singer/guitar player (lead guitar); he was the American
pioneer of rockability music and best known for his song "Blue Suede Shoes”;
Must be an excellent lead guitarist. Songls include "Matchbox”, "Who Do You
Love?”, "My Babe”, "See You Later, Alligator”.
Johnny Cash-mid 20s male. Actor/singer/guitar player to portray Johnny Cash at the dawn of
his career. Must be familiar with hos music and be able to play guitar; tall:
should sound and look somewhat like Johnny without being and "impersonator”.
Songs include "Folsom Prison Blues”, "Sixteen Tons”, "I Walk The Line”, "Riders
In The Sky”.
mid 30s male. Father of Rock ‘n Roll and founder of Sun Records who discovered
Elvis, Johnny, Jerry and Carl, and many others including Roy Orbison and B.B.
King. A charismatic figure in American music.
20s female. She was an aspiring singer and Elvis’s girlfriend. Attractive,
great singer with a wide range. Sings solos and back-ups through the show.
Sings "Fever” in her alto range and covers the high soprano part of "Riders In
The Sky” (Johnny Cash song).
Contracts include housing,
meals on performance days in Ft Myers, FL and Lancaster, Per Diem for the Bus
and truck portion of the tour, round trip transportation, health club
membership in FL and PA, direct deposit and weekly professional salary.
Videos and/or audio auditions are always welcome accompanied by a picture and resume.
